Privacy without the mysterious fine print.
Statistically Odd is designed to work without accounts, names, email addresses, or precise location data. This notice describes the current early version of the website.
Information stored on your device
The site stores a random browser identifier, your answer count, and your latest result using local storage. This lets the site prevent repeated votes and remember basic progress. You can remove this information by clearing the site data in your browser.
Information processed by the service
When you vote, the random browser identifier is transformed into a salted one-way hash before it is stored. The database stores the selected answer, question, anonymous hash, and timestamp. Anonymous funnel events such as starting or completing a quiz may also be stored.
Hosting and security
The website is hosted using Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare may process technical request information necessary to deliver and protect the service under its own privacy terms.
Advertising
The current rewarded-ad screen is a demonstration and does not serve paid advertising. If a third-party advertising provider is enabled later, this notice and the cookie notice will be updated before that provider is activated.
Your choices
Participation is optional. You may stop using the service or clear your browser's site data at any time. Because votes are intentionally stored without an account or directly identifying information, locating one specific person's vote may not be possible.
